By using the Nala application (“the App”) or website (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Nala, governed by French law.
Nala is an AI-powered wellness companion that provides guided meditation, breathing exercises, sleep stories, relaxing sounds, and conversational wellness support powered by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude API).
Nala is not a medical device, is not certified as a medical device, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Nala is designed exclusively for general wellness and relaxation. In accordance with French public health law (Code de la santé publique):

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nala (16 in the EU without parental consent, per GDPR Article 8).

All prices are in euros, tax included (TTC). Payments are processed exclusively through Google Play.
Free trial: You will not be charged during the trial period. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin at the applicable rate.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: After cancellation, you retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: Refund requests should be directed to Google Play per their refund policy. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content when performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent.

All content (meditations, stories, sounds, AI responses, images, brand elements) is owned by Nala and protected by French intellectual property law (Code de la propriété intellectuelle). You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nala is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service. This limitation does not affect your statutory consumer rights under French law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. For EU consumers, you retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may also refer a dispute to a consumer mediator before initiating court proceedings.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
