How to delete your account

You can delete your Nala account and all associated data directly from the app:

1. Open Nala
2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
3. Tap “Delete my account”
4. Confirm the deletion

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, all of the following data is permanently erased:

• Your profile (email, display name)
• All AI conversation history
• All journal entries
• Wellness scores and mood data
• Micro-actions and progress data
• All analytics events associated with your account
• Notification settings and push tokens
• Subscription records (note: active subscriptions must be cancelled separately via Google Play)

Timeline

Your data is deleted immediately upon confirmation. Firebase authentication data is also deleted. Any residual backups are purged within 30 days.

Can’t access the app?

If you cannot access the app, send an email to privacy@nala-meditation.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. Include the email address associated with your Nala account. We will process your request within 48 hours and confirm deletion by email.

Your rights

This deletion process implements your right to erasure under GDPR Article 17. If you wish to export your data before deletion, go to Settings > Export my data. For any questions, contact privacy@nala-meditation.com.
